The European Commission presented its Action Plan to help EU states integrate third country nationals. The action plan points out education and training as one of the most powerful tools for integration.
The action plan includes actions to support:
online language assessment and learning for newly arrived migrants
participation of migrant children in early childhood education and care
academic recognition of qualifications for study and work
The Action Plan also aims to promote intercultural dialogue, and active participation and social inclusion of migrants through youth, culture and sports.
