The Erasmus+ programme aims to boost skills and employability, as well as modernising Education, Training, and Youth work. The seven year programme will have a budget of €14.7 billion; a 40% increase compared to current spending levels, reflecting the EU s commitment to investing in these areas. Erasmus+ will provide opportunities for over 4 million Europeans to study, train, gain work experience and volunteer abroad.
The Erasmus+ Project Results Platform provides a comprehensive overview of projects funded under the Erasmus+ and its predecessor programmes. The platform gives access to project information (descriptions, funding, partners, results, contact information) and highlights best practice projects and success stories (i.e. projects that distinguished themselves in terms of policy relevance, communication potential, impact or design).
The Directorate General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture (DG EAC) is the executive branch of the European Union responsible for policy on education, culture, youth, languages, and sport. DG EAC also supports these issues through a variety of projects and programmes, notably Creative Europe and Erasmus+.
The Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) is entrusted with the management of specific parts of the EU's funding programmes in the fields of education, culture, audiovisual, sport, citizenship and volunteering.

Adult learning is a vital component of the European Commission's lifelong learning policy. It comprises formal, non-formal, and informal learning for improving basic skills, obtaining new qualifications, up-skilling, or re-skilling for employment. National Coordinators have been designated to promote adult learning policy through the European Agenda for Adult Learning.
Europe 2020 is the European Union’s ten-year growth and jobs strategy that was launched in 2010. It is about addressing the shortcomings of our growth model and creating the conditions for a smart, sustainable and inclusive growth.
