Erasmus + Programme

The Erasmus+ programme aims to boost skills and employability, as well as modernising Education, Training, and Youth work. The seven year programme will have a budget of €14.7 billion; a 40% increase compared to current spending levels, reflecting the EU s commitment to investing in these areas. Erasmus+ will provide opportunities for over 4 million Europeans to study, train, gain work experience and volunteer abroad.

Erasmus+ Project Results Platform

The Erasmus+ Project Results Platform provides a comprehensive overview of projects funded under the Erasmus+ and its predecessor programmes. The platform gives access to project information (descriptions, funding, partners, results, contact information) and highlights best practice projects and success stories (i.e. projects that distinguished themselves in terms of policy relevance, communication potential, impact or design).

EAC

The Directorate General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture (DG EAC) is the executive branch of the European Union responsible for policy on education, culture, youth, languages, and sport. DG EAC also supports these issues through a variety of projects and programmes, notably Creative Europe and Erasmus+.

EACEA

The Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) is entrusted with the management of specific parts of the EU's funding programmes in the fields of education, culture, audiovisual, sport, citizenship and volunteering.

This multilingual glossary defines 100 key terms used in European education and training policy. It is in six languages: English, Spanish, German, French, Italian and Portuguese. This glossary is an updated and extended version of the ‘Terminology of vocational training policy’, 2004.

This multilingual glossary (2014) defines 130 key terms used in European education and training policy. It is an extended and updated version of ‘Terminology of European education and training policy’(link is external) (2008) and ‘Terminology of vocational training policy’ (2004). It considers new priorities of European union policy, mainly in skills and competence needs analysis. New definitions have been developed with experts from Cedefop.
