EPALE's thematic focus from August to September is on social inclusion of vulnerable groups
Over the last decade, social exclusion and disengagement of adults have been among the most significant concerns faced by EU countries. There is a growing number of people suffering from the various effects of the unstable social, economic and political situations affecting Europe and its neighbouring countries. Some adults are particularly at risk of being excluded and marginalised, for example those with health or learning difficulties, early school leavers, members of ethnic minority groups, homeless people, or refugees and migrants.
Here at EPALE we believe that the European adult education systems have the potential to meet these adults’ specific educational needs and change people’s lives for the better. Marginalized groups
We should try our best to reach to people that are on the margin of the society. EPALE and digital world can help in the course with online courses that are free to all of them. Also after completing those courses really big boost will be some kind of certification that they will get and most important new skills that they can use in their life.This will benefit them to explore more jobs.

Educația adulților și grupurile defavorizate
Apariția grupurilor sociale defavorizate și extinderea numerică a persoanelor din aceste grupuri are drept cauză caracterul antidemocrat al guvernărilor din sistemul capitalist de „piață liberă”. Iata o scurta analiză: https://www.academia.edu/34432519/STATUL_%C5%9EI_DEMOCRA%C5%A2IA
Uniunea Europeană se doreste a fi un stat federal, care funcționează în ilegalitate constituțională, deoarece Constituția UE, a fost respinsă la singurele referendumuri organizate pentru aprobarea ei de către popoarele UE, în 2005. În consecință, guvernarea europeană este percepută de populație ca fiind în slujba unei minorități lacome și perverse, care utilizează puterea federală pentru imbogățirea privată a companiilor transnaționale și pentru sărăcirea majoritătii populației, adică apariția și extensia persoanelor și familiilor cu un nivel de trai la limita de subzistență sau sub această limită. Indicatorul economic cel mai evident este existența și creșterea datoriei publice a tuturor statelor UE, ceea ce demonstrează că economia UE nu este în slujba cetățenilor ei ci a unei minorități private, deoarece într-o economie normală, oamenii produc mult mai multe bunuri decât consumă ( la nivelul tehnologiilor din mileniul III) ceea ce ar însemna creșterea bunăstării lor și nu a datoriilor lor!
In consecință, educația adulților trebuie axată pe înțelegerea cauzelor apariției, existenței și extensiei grupurilor defavorizate, sistemul capitalist și eliminarea cauzelor prin schimbarea acestui sistem care conduce omenirea spre autodistrugere, cu un sistem prodemocrat, numit „calea a treia” și nu axată pe reeducarea acestor grupuri pentru a accepta statutul de slugă eficientă a unor structuri private de interese internaționale.
Pentru aceasta trebuie reconsiderate conținuturile și principiile pedagogiei clasice și alinierea lor la nivelul de vârf al cunoașterii actuale, filosofia sistemică, în mod deosebit curentul realist de modelare socioeconomică. Obiectivul principal atat la nivel national cat si european, este ca toţi cetăţenii să aibă oportunităţi egale de a participa
în societate, să fie apreciaţi şi valorizaţi, să trăiască în demnitate, iar nevoile lor elementare să
fie satisfăcute şi diferenţele respectate. În acest context, incluziunea socială a grupurilor
vulnerabile și reducerea numărului de persoane expuse riscului de sărăcie sau excluziune
socială , conform țintelor asumate la nivel european, reprezintă rezultatul principal vizat
de politicile si strategiile din domeniu.

Social Inclusion of Vulnerable Groups
Our transnational partnership (Northern Ireland, Italy, Greece, Turkey and Scotland) is actively involved in setting up an accredited blended learning and online course for trainers in cultural awareness. We anticipate that many of the newly qualified trainers will be from ethnic minority backgrounds, and that there will be beneficial outcomes across Europe in terms of appreciation of diversity, development of Citizenship skills and greater social inclusion of newcomers. We would love to get your views and comments on our recent EPALE blog “The importance of accredited online training in cultural awareness ....” (Brian Caul), which describes the aims and desired outputs of our Erasmus+ Project, “CAST4Innovation”.

A literacia digital
Programas de Inclusão para Literacia Digital(PILD) como o que tem o município de Lisboa, contribuem sem dúvida para que pessoas em risco de exclusão social, como migrantes, refugiados e/ou desempregados, possam adquirir competências digitais fundamentais para a sua participação na sociedade, criando mais oportunidades para procura de emprego, por exemplo. São 10 as competências que podem desenvolver, através de cursos gratuitos, que decorrem entre Outubro e Dezembro de 2019 em diversos equipamentos da cidade de Lisboa.
