News from around Europe
A lot happened in October in the adult learning sector across Europe:
- As of October, 12 administrative regions in Bosnia and Herzegovina have adopted the law on adult education, which makes adult education a legally regulated field in these regions. (EN)
- The Dutch government has dedicated €20 million to developing innovative and flexible vocational education programmes for workers and job seekers.
- Meanwhile, Romania revised the initial VET qualifications to include the key digital, entrepreneurial and transversal competences in the training standards that define them. (RO)
