EPALE - Electronic Platform for Adult Learning in Europe

Why EPALE

Why EPALE

EPALE is a European, multilingual, open membership community of adult learning professionals, including adult educators and trainers, guidance and support staff, researchers and academics, and policymakers.

EPALE is funded by the Erasmus+ programme. It is part of the European Union’s strategy to promote more and better learning opportunities for all adults.

EPALE does this by supporting and strengthening the adult learning professions. It enables members to connect with and learn from colleagues across Europe, through its blog posts, forums, the Partner Search tool, complemented with physical gatherings.

EPALE provides a wealth of high-quality, accurate information relevant for adult learning practitioners. Over time, more and more of this content should be provided by members themselves. Learn more about how to engage with the EPALE community.

EPALE has a strong editorial policy that also centres on the adult learning community. We want all of our users to feel welcome on the site, and to trust the information that is presented on this platform. You can read our full community guidelines here.

On a day-to-day basis, EPALE is managed by a Central Support Team with the help of 37 National Support Teams across Europe. We are committed to involving you throughout the development of EPALE so that it meets your expectations and gives you what you need to stay up-to-date with developments in adult learning across Europe.

Join now to become part of Europe’s biggest adult learning community!

EPALE is funded under the Erasmus+ programme via the European Education and Culture Executive Agency. You can contact DG EAC at eac-epale@ec.europa.eu or via post:
