The Future of Jobs Report 2025 - World Economic Forum

The World Economic Forum's Future of Jobs Report 2025 identifies key drivers shaping the global labor market by 2030, including five key forces: tech evolution, economic fragmentation, market uncertainty, population changes, and green initiatives.
Over 1,000 global employers provided insights into how these trends will impact jobs and skills, highlighting the demand for technology, green energy, and healthcare roles, while automation and economic uncertainties may displace certain jobs. Key challenges include skill gaps, which 63% of employers see as a barrier to transformation, prompting a focus on upskilling and reskilling. The report predicts significant job creation (170 million) and displacement (92 million), with growth in roles related to AI, green technologies, and healthcare. A shift in workforce demographics and increased focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion are also expected. By 2030, employers plan to prioritize employee well-being, talent retention, and investing in AI-related skills.
