Our project contains 15-17 year-old 24 students, who continue their study at the welder branch of metal technologies department in Niğde Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, and the six instructors’ educational/internship activities at the Organizations of Carl Bosch Schule Heidelberg, ZAB Frankenthal and Iuventas at Mannheim/Germany that in business with arc welding technics and preventive maintenance (AWT-PREMAIN).

There is a laboratory and workshop in our school, in which the activities about AWT-PREMAIN are fulfilled, it is being innovated with poor facilities according to the contemporary technology, and they are actively used for the education and teaching. With the acquisitions of our participants on the process of project, the necessary technical staff for the industrial production of our region being improved at the standards of European Union is aimed.

The main purpose of this project from the view of our students is that by acquiring our participants’ knowledge and skills on the Arc Welding Technics and Preventive Maintenance at European Union member countries, to develop their vocational experience and qualification, by learning new techniques and methods about their jobs and utilizing them, interactive sharing of the vocational information, to improve the spirit of entrepreneurship, to provide intercultural interactions. Another aim of the study is to share the information and skills, which acquired in the process of project, with the other students and also with the industry which need qualified staff in this context.

Moreover, it is purposed that the acquisition and using of the vocational information, skills and qualifications of the student and instructor participants, supporting the studies for the innovation and quality at vocational education and teaching. 

With the administration of this project, it is aimed that of our all participants promote the cooperation the Europe -wide relevant institutions and organizations, recognize the acquisitions and qualifications, certificating the qualifications, increase the transparency and improve their skills of foreign language.

It is also aimed that to explore the applying types of these technologies at the member countries of European Union, to identify the applicable ones, to increase and improve the potential of labor and the qualification of the production with the exchange of information and experiences.

In the European Union process, civilizations’ recognizing each other and getting accustomed of cultures at the globalized world in tolerance environment, are seen as other benefits of this project.

Timing of our project is one year and our participants are going to fulfill their education and appliance activities on the Arc Welding Technics and Preventive Maintenance for two weeks, between 30.04.2017-13.05.2017 in the organizations of our host partners Carl Bosch Schule Heidelberg, ZAB Frankenthal and IUVENTAS institution/organizations in Germany.
