The IDEA project is is a 2-year project funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, which aims to provide adapted training, promoting an Interactive toolset for Educators of young adult people which will support the development of their skills needed for boosting entrepreneurship among NEETs.

Objective

Entrepreneurship courses usually offered to young adults who enrol in school, college or university do not deliver the expected results, because adult educators in the field of entrepreneurship skills have no real understanding of the complete skill set required to be successful entrepreneur.

The main aim of “IDEA: Interactive toolset supporting Development of Educators of Adults’ skills in Boosting Entrepreneurship among NEETs” is to extend and develop competencies of educators of adults in the area of entrepreneurial skills (in non-formal settings) through providing them with guidance and motivation strategies and equipping with an innovative solution: a toolset that allow Educators for assessing the skills of NEETs, propose them customised learning path and provide adapted training  connecting young adults to real life entrepreneurship.

Intellectual Outputs

IO1 - Mobile report about entrepreneurship teaching and entrepreneurial skills demand according to businesses.

An interactive resource which allow for searching and filtering the answers using various criteria and for revealing the most needed skills and including tips for self-development for educators and NEETs.

IO2 - Interactive toolset supporting Development of Educators of Adults' skills in Boosting Entrepreneurship among NEETs.

A web-based application that will enable access to training/teaching materials and resources on entrepreneurial skills. The toolset is usable by both educators and NEETs.

Progress

The mobile report about entrepeneurship teaching and skills demanded by businesses is complete! You can access the results on the website or download it as an app!

The interactive toolset is in the testing phase! The partners have developed a questionaire that will assess 8 informal skills that are especially important for entrepeneurs!

Based on these results the learners can take up to 8 different modules in different informal skills 

The partners are now in the testing and improvement phase, contacting with their regional networks of adult entrepeneurship educators and NEETs to test and improve the toolset based on the comments and opinions of the users that will profit from the toolset.
