EPALE-4 PROJECT, BLOG WRITING COMPETITION TURKEY 3.

Within the scope of the EPALE-4 Project of the European Adult Education Platform EPALE, one of the International Projects of the General Directorate of Lifelong Learning of the Ministry of National Education; a blog writing competition was organized between November 01, 2023 and December 15, 2023 with the participation of all public and private schools/institutions in the themes of “Interacting”, “Encouraging” and “Including” in order to raise awareness among adult individuals and to introduce and explain the “good practice examples/experiences” experienced by institutions or individuals.

In the competition where more than 100 works were examined by 8 jury members, Ayşegül DEMİRELÇE ADAR, a Clothing Production Technology Teacher working at the Karesi District National Education Directorate Special Office Unit, came 3rd in Turkey with her blog post titled “Butterfly Effect in Multicultural Education”, which she prepared with the aim of enriching education with various materials and games by integrating innovative approaches to intercultural interaction in adult education within the scope of the theme “Interacting”. She received her award at the award ceremony held in Antalya on 04-05 March 2024 at the EPALE International Conference; Deputy Minister of National Education Ms. Celile Eren ÖKTEN, HBÖGM Mr. Cengiz METE and Epale Turkey Coordinator Mr. Yusuf Taner TEKİN also participated.

With this project, which is the best example of sustainable projects; The international conference, attended by EPALE representatives from 8 European countries (Belgium, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Finland, Greece, Serbia, Poland, Montenegro), EPALE regional academicians, representatives and project team of the General Directorate of Lifelong Learning of our Ministry, EPALE representatives working in the R&D units of provincial directorates of national education, representatives of stakeholder institutions, managers of public education centers and trainers, discussed the studies carried out within the scope of the EPALE thematic agenda and examples of good practice.
