The Digital Services & Senior's Inclusion (DSSI) project

As part of the Digital Services & Senior's Inclusion (DSSI): The potential of a Libraries & Communities Alliance in the post COVID Era (DSSI) project we developed the DSSI Online Platform, which is freely available here https://dssi-vle.ie/

This is a free online platform containing 6 modules  on how to use the internet and access digital library and public services aimed at users of an older age, however, the content is also relevant to anyone who wants to learn more about getting the most out of the Internet.

Its important that before users begin using the Platform that they can create an account here https://dssi-vle.ie/login/index.php   Registration will be confirmed 3-4 hours after registration.

The DSSI project aims to foster the rights of individuals of older age to access information and lifelong learning and enjoy the right of participation in everyday society as independent citizens through digital active aging and involving libraries networks. The project has trained staff, to support them in providing online e-courses to senior learners. Through these courses, older people will be empowered to make full use of the fantastic range of services available online and receive the full benefit of inclusion. In addition, senior learners will become confident to independently use a range of digital public and commercial services.

DSSI is an Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnerships in Adult Education funded project.
