Inclusion of migrant women in Vocational Education

Inclusion ToC is a groundbreaking initiative at the intersection of education, empowerment, and inclusivity. This project is built upon the strength of the Theory of Change methodology to develop strategies that foster the inclusion of migrant women in Vocational Education and Training (VET) organisations. It could be said that the project is like a path where planning meets participation, and change becomes a collaborative effort. 

 

To illustrate the approach of the project it is worth paying attention to the deliverables that have been created, which collectively embody our commitment to create tangible ways for inclusion , knowledge-sharing, and empowerment within the field of Vocational Education and Training. 

Our tailored training course helps VET organizations, teachers, and staff; providing essential insights into implementing inclusive policies through the application of the Theory of Change. This comprehensive course empowers participants to actively contribute to the inclusion of migrant women in VET.

Then, the Synthesis Report provides a detailed analysis of the foundations of our training course. This report systematically outlines the contextual analysis, providing a deep understanding of the principles that drive the complexity of our integrative approach.

Our digital platform acts as a hub for VET organizations, teachers, staff, and students, fostering the participatory implementation of the Theory of Change for migrant women's inclusion. It goes further by incorporating a self-assessment tool, allowing VET organizations to evaluate their current inclusion practices and measure the impact of the training program's implementation. This tool, InclusionToC 360°, works in four simple steps. Users start by creating a free account, customizing the assessment parameters, specifying the number and type of respondents (VET managers, teachers or students) and determining the duration of the assessment. Then the generated worksheets or tokens are then distributed to the participants in the organisation. At the end of the evaluation period, users get access to comprehensive reports tailored to the types of respondents, providing valuable information and facilitating informed decision-making. 

 

Lastly, tailored for migrant women, our training guide provides both theoretical and practical insights into soft skills, leadership, personal development, self-awareness, and empowerment. Our aim is to equip migrant women to serve as role models in their communities, fostering a domino effect of empowerment and inclusion.
