CoblAges publishes new open-access methodology: Methodology for using Community Based Learning as a tool for Intergenerational Citizenship in preparing higher education students for an ageing world.



The CoblAges partnership is proud to announce the publication of a practical, open-access methodology and toolkit that guides higher education institutions, community managers and students in designing and running intergenerational, community-based learning (CBL) workshops. The resource is intended to prepare higher education students for an ageing world by fostering intergenerational citizenship, practical longevity skills, and community engagement.

- A brief introduction to intergenerational citizenship and community-based learning
- A step-by-step guide to planning and facilitating intergenerational CBL sessions between university students and older adults in rural communities.
- Practical templates, activity examples and evaluation suggestions (a toolkit for implementation).
- Ways to disseminate and recruit participants for your sessions
