CHARACTERISTICS OF COOPERATIVE TEACHING
The paper deals with the theoretical background, significant qualities, characteristics and effects of cooperative teaching, while trying to reach its goal of promoting cooperative learning in theory and praxis as well as understanding it. There is a need for introducing more efficient methods into the teaching and pedagogical process, since coopreative teaching distinguishes itself by its significance. A great number of scientific papers dealing with it as well as their results, stressing its numerous advantages, only prove the interest in this subject. Furthermore, the lavish amount of literature on cooperative learning gives us a clear perspective of the fact that its employment in the school environment has very powerful effects on students’ accomplishments and their socio-emotional development.
