SMARTageCARE Co-Creation Workshop: Empowering Active Ageing Together

SMARTageCare is an innovative European project focused on enhancing active ageing and improving the quality of life for older adults through the use of digital tools and technologies. The project aims to address the specific needs of older individuals, particularly those facing challenges such as social isolation, mobility issues, and access to healthcare.
The goal of the workshop is to co-create an educational program that is practical, inclusive, and reflective of the real challenges faced by older adults. By using a holistic approach, focusing on Active Ageing, citizenship, e-health, and digital inclusion, the workshop will provide insights that will guide the design of more effective, sustainable policies and programs for older people.
Workshop Objectives:
- Discuss the definition of Active Ageing and its implications for the older population.
- Explore challenges related to health, mobility, isolation, and lack of information.
- Co-create an educational program designed to improve inclusivity, accessibility, and engagement for older adults in society.
- Identify real-life challenges and propose solutions for Active Ageing that are both sustainable and impactful.
By contributing to this session, you’ll help shape a comprehensive program that supports older adults in overcoming the barriers they face while empowering them to live more active, engaged lives.
