A new project to support cloud security: Go Cloud! Go Secure!

Five countries are participating in the implementation of the EU funded "Go Cloud! Go Secure!" project (2024-1-AT01-KA220-VET-000245093). The aim of the Erasmus+ KA220-VET initiative is to enhance cybersecurity readiness among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the service sector.
The new project runs between November 2024 and October 2026, and will be carried out by partner organisations representing Austria, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Hungary and Italy.
The project brings together the following partners:
FH Joanneum Gesellschaft mbH (FHJ) (Austria, lead partner)
ETE Faros Ltd. (FAROS) (Cyprus)
I.E.R.F.O.P. Onlus (Italy)
Acta Consulting Ltd. (Bulgaria)
Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Csongrád-Csanád (CSKIK) (Hungary)

Specific objectives of the project are:
Adapting vocational education and training to labour market needs by
developing a comprehensive Cloud Security Implementation Course for SMEs covering the latest industry practices, tools and methodologies related to cloud security,
collaborating with VET providers to integrate the course into their curriculum,
establishing partnerships with industry experts, professionals and organisations to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practice.
- Addressing digital transformation through the development of digital readiness, resilience and capacity by
- establishing a Cloud Security Implementation Matrix to identify and assess cloud threats, weaknesses, vulnerabilities and risks,
- develop a standardized and risk-based tool, the Cloud Security Implementation Model, which enables SMEs to strengthen their resilience to face digital threats and challenges.
The tools developed during the project will be free and available in English and all the official languages of the consortium partners.
The project aims to benefit the following target groups:
- Direct target groups:
- VET providers, trainers and consultants,
- Training institutions and trainers,
- HR personnel and in-house trainers,
- Universities, colleges and vocational school teachers.
- Indirect target groups:
- SMEs and microenterprises in the service sector,
- companies and experts who provide companies cloud computing and cybersecurity services,
- the unemployed people.
The tools developed during the project will be free and available in 6 languages (EN, DE, EL, BG, IT and HU). Whenever ready, all project results will be available on the project website and promoted in the Go Could! Go Secure! project Newsletters.
