GDPRism: Free e-learning and materials on data protection

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is often perceived as an obstacle, especially in a professional context. The many regulations seem too complex and can be overwhelming at first. However, anyone who dares to take a closer look at the topic will quickly realise that implementing the General Data Protection Regulation is not that complicated.
And this is where our "GDPRism" project comes in. Our aim is to support organisations and employees in the education sector as well as all interested parties on their way to data protection-compliant project implementation. After all, data protection has long been a quality feature.
GDPRism makes data protection tangible and, above all, applicable.
Discover our free online training course, which provides a practical overview of the GDPR. The training provides an overview of the most important regulations of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and links this theoretical knowledge with specific use cases from everyday professional life, such as the secure storage of addresses and participant lists or the effective use of video conferencing.
The project is supplemented by a collection of checklists and templates on the most important topics that you can use in your day-to-day work.
What can you expect from the online training?
As a “basic data protection course“, our training initially offers an introduction to the topic and explains the most important regulations of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
In the second module, “Data protection in practice“, we finally transfer this theoretical knowledge into practice using classic use cases. This is based on the example of specific issues during project preparation, project implementation and project follow-up.
Finally, in our third module “Templates & Tools“, you will find a range of different templates and checklists for free use. These documents support you in putting what you have learnt directly into practice. Among other things, you will find templates for documenting your own processing activities, information sheets and templates for creating data protection notices and obtaining consent for the processing of personal data, as well as templates for carrying out risk analyses.
In the “Tools” module, you will also find a list of various online services for different use cases with an initial data protection assessment.
The complete e-learning programme is currently available in three languages: German, English and Greek.
