Aims and objectives
Pilot-test the AutisMUSIC Toolkit with teachers in the real mainstream classroom environments (2nd pilot test phase) and offer input for revisions.
Expected (learning) outcomes
Understanding Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD): Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the characteristics and needs of individuals with autism, particularly in the context of music-based interventions.

Music Therapy Techniques: Teachers will be able to apply various music therapy techniques to support the cognitive, emotional, and social development of students with autism.

Adaptation of Learning Environments: Participants will learn how to create inclusive and adaptive learning environments that foster the participation and engagement of students with autism in music-based activities.

Practical Skills in Music-based Interventions: Teachers will develop practical skills to design and implement music-based interventions that cater to diverse learning needs.

Collaborative Learning: Participants will gain experience in collaborative methods for working with other educators, therapists, and specialists in developing holistic support strategies for students with autism.

Assessment and Evaluation Tools: Teachers will acquire tools to assess and evaluate the effectiveness of music interventions, as well as strategies for continuous improvement.

Reflection and Self-Assessment: Teachers will reflect on their own practices, identifying areas of growth and developing personalized action plans for integrating music-based strategies in their teaching.

Cultural Sensitivity and Inclusivity: Teachers will gain insights into promoting cultural sensitivity and inclusivity within the classroom when working with students from diverse backgrounds.

Sustainability of Best Practices: Participants will learn strategies for ensuring the sustainability and long-term impact of music-based autism interventions within their educational settings.
