International Challenge for Mathematics Educators: Join the Global Movement to Transform Math Education

Are you passionate about mathematics and eager to contribute to global education? Here's your chance to make an impact while gaining recognition and rewards.

A Global Call for Mathematical Innovation

As the organizer of the Users' International Challenge (UIC), I'm thrilled to announce this exciting opportunity for mathematics educators worldwide. The UIC is a cornerstone initiative of the ERASMUS+ Gate2Math (G2M) Project, designed to bring together educators, students, researchers, and mathematics enthusiasts to create high-quality Open Educational Resources (OER) for mathematics.

Our remote event runs from March 15 to March 28, 2025, offering a unique platform to showcase your creativity and expertise in mathematics education.

Breaking Down Borders in Mathematics Education

What drives our mission at UIC is the global scope of this challenge. In today's interconnected world, sharing educational resources across borders can lead to remarkable innovations. We've created this collaborative environment specifically to enhance mathematics education worldwide through the collective expertise of passionate individuals like you.

Three Compelling Reasons to Participate

1. Drive Educational Innovation

Develop interactive materials that enhance learning experiences for students globally. This is your chance to create resources that could transform how mathematics is taught and learned.

2. Gain International Recognition

Showcase your work on a prestigious platform and receive certificates for your contributions. Having your educational materials recognized internationally can be a significant boost to your professional profile.

3. Win Valuable Rewards

Top submissions will be rewarded with Amazon Gift Cards! Beyond the satisfaction of contributing to education, there are tangible benefits to participating.

Key Dates to Remember

  • Open Stage: February 14 – March 28, 2025
  • Final Stage: April 13 – 26, 2025

How to Join the Challenge

Getting involved is straightforward:

  1. Create original OER materials in English - This could include exercises, video tutorials, interactive modules, or other innovative learning resources
  2. Complete the submission form by the specified deadlines

Skills You'll Develop Along the Way

As an educator myself, I'm particularly excited about the learning outcomes associated with this challenge. Participants will develop skills in:

  • Creating high-quality educational resources
  • Designing engaging content using innovative pedagogical approaches
  • Utilizing digital tools effectively for educational content
  • Contributing to inclusive and accessible mathematics education

Free Participation - Open to All

The best part? Participation is completely free! Our initiative truly embraces the open education philosophy - removing barriers to participation while promoting the creation of freely accessible educational resources.
