AGISEC: 5ᵉ event for an inclusive and ecological sport
In a world where sport plays an essential role in social cohesion and sustainable development, the Erasmus+ Sport project "Acting for an inclusive and ecological sport" (AGISEC) has set itself the mission of raising awareness and engaging those involved in sport in a more responsible approach that is accessible to all.
An event committed to a more inclusive and environmentally-friendly sport
At the end of January 2025, on the occasion of International Women's Sports Week, the 5ᵉ event of the AGISEC project took place in Pessac (33600), France. Co-organized by the USSAP (boxing section) and the AUX COULEURS DU DEBA association, this event brought together participants from diverse backgrounds around accessible and eco-responsible sporting practices.
Our Sicilian-based partner CEIPES organized a parallel event on the same theme, reinforcing the AGISEC project's cross-border reach.

Concrete actions to make sport accessible to all
The event highlighted a number of initiatives to promote inclusion and equality in sport:
• Workshops to raise awareness of the place of women in sport, the challenges they face and ways of encouraging their participation at all levels.
• Adapted sports sessions, with inclusive activities for people with disabilities, demonstrating that sport can be a space for diversity and equality.
• Intergenerational and multicultural events designed to break down social barriers and promote equitable access to sport for all
• Highlighting inspiring role models, with testimonials from sportsmen and women committed to promoting inclusive and sustainable sport
A European dynamic for a more united future
The AGISEC project illustrates the importance of European collaboration in the field of sport. Thanks to Erasmus+ Sport, these events reinforce good practice, encourage intercultural exchange and inspire new initiatives for more ethical, inclusive and sustainable sport.
