EPALE's online discussion on social inclusion of the ageing population and intergenerational learning
Save the date for EPALE's final thematic online discussion of 2020!
EPALE's thematic focus from October to December is "Social inclusion of the ageing population and intergenerational learning” and we're excited for you to join us for a conversation on this topic. It will be facilitated by EPALE Thematic coordinator Gina Ebner, Secretary-General of EAEA. The discussion will include the following topics:
- What adult education policies and initiatives can support social inclusion of older learners?
- Has there been more attention to their situation in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic?
- What target groups have you been working with, and what would be your recommendations to ensure that adults continue to play an active role in society as they age?
Do you have something to add? The online discussion will take place on 28 October but you don't have to wait until the end of the month to introduce yourself or post comments in advance! Comments on the discussion page will be open from 19 October. You are also welcome to share or read about insights about the topic, experiences from related projects, or questions on the EPALE focus page.
