Short biography

I began my career in Southern Italy as a professor of Italian with a specialisation in Medieval Latin Philology. I then advanced my academic knowledge in this field. I later served as principal of a science high school in Rome. I now work in adult education and am passionately committed to transformative learning opportunities.

My Story of Empowerment

Since the first of September, my days have started early as I absorb the morning's energy in my commitment to lead CPIA (CPIA system offers courses aimed at raising the educational levels and strengthening the basic skills of the adult population) 1 of Rome. My vision has translated into concrete actions, with a focus on innovation and inclusion. I am laying the groundwork for a school that embraces the future without forgetting the immediate needs of the community.

One of the first challenges was responding to new regulations on public employees' behaviour. When implementing the code of conduct, we set high standards to ensure an ethical work environment. This effort required delicate negotiations and meetings, tackling resistance and doubts, but ultimately it led to a renewed sense of shared responsibility.

At the same time, the reorganisation of the ATA internal rankings marked a crucial moment in our Human Resource Management. This process, although technical, has had a direct impact on staff efficiency and morale, ensuring that every team member is valued and positioned to contribute with their best efforts.

A particularly exciting moment was the relaunch of the "Seminario Europeo del 18 Aprile". Training for teachers and ATA staff was not just an update, it was a revolution in thinking and applying adult pedagogy. Adjusting the class schedule allowed for greater flexibility and accessibility, thus meeting the needs of a diverse student body. This event brought together faculty, staff, and students for an enriching exchange of ideas and strategies that strengthened our educational approach.

Seminar

The impact of these initiatives extended beyond the classrooms, influencing the broader community. Moreover, union assemblies and training sessions strengthened group cohesion. Adapting to behaviour codes and an effective use of technologies raised our standards, making CPIA 1 of Rome a model of excellence in adult education. On a daily basis, as I walk through the school's hallways, I see the fruits of our labor: engaged students, motivated teachers, and an environment that breathes collaboration and respect.

My passion for education drives me to continue on this path, aware that every small step contributes to a better future. Today I am where I want to be, always expanding opportunities to learn.
