The EPALE Resource Centre is a bank of materials that will help keep you up to date with adult education best practices and reference documents.

We publish case studies of innovative adult education approaches, reports and policy documents as well as magazine and newspaper articles.

You will also be able to find open education resources as well as training and learning materials so you will always have access to the best tools to help you in your everyday work.

 

How to use the Resource Centre

There are several ways to browse and search the EPALE Resource Centre:

  1. Browse
    The newest content is at the top of the page so you can easily stay up to date with the most recent developments in the sector.

  2. Search
    Go straight to a specific resource by typing the title, author or keyword in the search box.

  3. Filter
    Filter by type of resource, theme, tags, country, author and language. Relevant resources will be listed to the left of the page.

Will diversity be a new topic in adult education? Interview with Dušana Findeisen.

Now Head of the Institute for research and development of education within Slovenian Third Age University, Dušana Findeisen has been dealing with education of older people in former Yugoslavia, Slovenia and in many European countries since 1984. In 1986 she co/established Slovenian Third Age University together with prof. dr. Ana Krajnc from the University of Ljubljana, developed its specific model and started building theory of older adult education and social participation of older people in relation to their life course, social transitions and local development. Education of older adults in Slovenia led to the establishment of nearly 1000 workplaces for educators of all generations and numerous local initiatives of self-organised groups of older people.
