Launch of the 2025/26 Lifelong Learning Prospectus – Malta
The Directorate for Lifelong Learning and Employability (DLE), under the Ministry for Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation, is pleased to announce the launch of its 2025/26 Lifelong Learning Prospectus.
This publication forms part of Malta’s wider strategy to promote inclusive, accessible, and flexible learning opportunities for all adults. It reflects the priorities outlined in the National Lifelong Learning Strategy 2023–2030 and is aligned with the National Education Strategy 2024–2030.
What the Prospectus Offers
- A wide range of courses in:
- Business, Science and Technology
- Creative Arts
- Humanities and Personal Development
- Languages
- Self-paced learning programmes
- Multiple learning formats:
- Face-to-face
- Online (synchronous)
- Asynchronous/self-paced
- Flexible timetables, including morning, evening, and modular sessions
- Clear progression pathways for upskilling, reskilling, or personal enrichment
Who Can Apply
- Adults aged 15 and over living in Malta or Gozo
- Individuals looking to:
- Return to learning
- Enter or re-enter the workforce
- Build foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and digital competence
- Explore new interests or qualifications
- Special provisions are available for:
- Shift workers
- People with disabilities or additional learning needs
- Learners at risk of social exclusion
- Older adults and those receiving social benefits
Guidance and Support
A free Guidance and Support Service is available to help individuals:
- Choose the right course
- Plan career and learning pathways
- Prepare CVs and for interviews
- Receive personalised assistance throughout their learning journey
Important Dates
- Application period: 1 July – 8 August 2025
- Course delivery: October 2025 – May 2026
- Application method: Online or in person via local councils and Servizz.gov centres
