E-mentoring for unemployed youth


The E-MENTORING project aimed to enhance digital competencies for mentors in youth-serving organizations, providing innovative solutions for e-mentoring programs for unemployed youth. The project aimed to achieve a positive impact in: (i) partners and other youth-serving organizations in Europe, developing the digital competencies of mentors to support e-mentoring programmes; (ii) mentors, extending and developing their digital competencies and accessing to innovative solutions to support e-mentoring, (iii) unemployed youth, increasing their engagement and active civic participation; and (iv) stakeholders, accessing innovative solutions to support e-mentoring. The project has had a positive impact for: (i) partners and other youth-serving organizations in Europe, developing the digital competencies of mentors to support e-mentoring programmes; (ii) mentors, extending and developing their digital competencies and accessing to innovative solutions to support e-mentoring, (iii) unemployed youth, increasing their engagement and active civic participation; and (iv) stakeholders, accessing innovative solutions to support e-mentoring.
The project has provided mentors and youth-serving organizations, at national and European level, with an innovative training curriculum, an online platform with ICT-based tools, as well as guidelines and recommendations facilitating and improving the development of educational activities regarding development of digital competencies and solutions to support e-mentoring. This contributes to an increased capacity and readiness of youth-serving organizations to manage an effective shift towards digital education and training, and promotes quality, innovation and recognition of youth work. By actively involving the target groups, the project not only showcased its achievements but also laid the groundwork for sustained collaboration and a lasting impact within the youth-serving and educational communities.
