The report provides a detailed mapping of European higher education (HE) institutions supporting the wood industry, highlighting study programmes, related disciplines, and key characteristics of the educational offerings. The main objective is to understand the size of the wood-related educational community, analyze graduate profiles, and assess the alignment between educational offerings and the current and future needs of the sector. Using a practical and replicable methodology, the report identifies 154 institutions and 400 academic programmes, examining the breadth and diversity of wood education in the context of the green and digital transition.
