I am writing to you from İzmir Bilim Koleji , the only private school of science in Izmir for gifted and talented children. Our school has a  kindergarten, elementary and middle school, with a student body of 100 students.
Since the current national education system in Turkey lacks a unique curriculum for the gifted, there is a dire need to devise a well- rounded curriculum that benefits from the expertise, insights and the scientific findings of the international community working in the area as well as from the experience of local educators in our country, Turkey. 
Our school has taken on a leadership role towards the fulfillment of this need and aims to bring together specialists and practitioners in the field of the education of the gifted around an Erasmus project.  The product curriculum is intended to be shared with national education schools and private schools serving gifted students across the country through teacher education programs and course materials in digital and hard copy versions. 
We are in the process of searching for potential partners across Europe and extending you an invitation to be one and if possible to refer us to your contacts in Europe, preferably schools and universities, thus teachers and academicians from Slovenia,Norway, Sweden, Finland, The Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, and The United Kingdom,who you think could also be potential partners.
