Društvo IFISI - Initiatives Focussed on Immigrants’ Social Inclusion is located in Maribor, the second largest city in Slovenia. The mission of this not-for-profit NGO is to enhance the psychosocial wellbeing of immigrants in Slovenia and beyond through a multifaceted approach, integrating empowerment, social inclusion, resilience promotion, and the reduction of social inequalities. Our focus groups are especially women and youth, as well as adult educators / persons working with these vulnerable groups.
One of out programs (AFROskop - Affirmative Racial Mirrors) is focusing on empowering Black and biracial children in transracial families, connecting them to the African diaspora.
We are looking for partnerships and cooperations with organisations who share our vision and efforts. The organisation was recently registered by experienced and skilled team in management and implementation of various European projects, especially Erasmus+.
We are looking for projects aimed at: development of learning / teaching tools and materials, exchange of good practices, development of applications, testing of innovative practice, conducting researches,…
Themes of interest: inclusion and diversity, antiracism, migration, entrepreneurship, ICT, language learning, personal and professional skills development, active participation in public life, cultural and social integration; youth and sports.
Our skills: management and implementation of various European projects, preparation of project ideas and project documentation, development of intellectual outputs, testing of new approaches in adult education.
