ZubiGune Fundazioa is a non-profit organisation founded in 2011 by CIFP Usurbil LHII  Vocational Education and Training School (VET),  local companies and centres of technology in the Basque Country committed to expanding cooperation among participants involved in technological and social development.

By collaborating with SMEs, the CIFP Usurbil LHII VET School and centres of investigation, the foundation fosters continuous training and lifelong learning for active and unemployed workers, in the fields of renewable energies, energy efficiency, thermal installations and maintenance, manufacturing mechanics, administration, and finance.

ZubiGune manages 50 VET courses, which offer training to more than 450 participants per year, and work with more than 15 trainers/teachers each year. These courses are recognised by and designed in collaboration with official job centres. In addition to that, ZubiGune offers a range of blended learning courses in the fields mentioned above and language courses (mainly English and French).

Furthermore, the foundation works in close collaboration with the Vocational Training School CIFP USURBIL LHII, developing new learning contents for blended learning courses mainly in the fields of renewable energies and assisting the school in international projects management.
