ZADRUŽNI CENTER ZA SOCIALNO DEJAVNOST - SOCIALNA ZADRUGA - CENTRO COOPERATIVO DÌ ATTIVITÀ SOCIALI - SOCIETÀ COOPERATIVA SOCIALE A RESPONSABILITÀ LIMITATA


Zadružni center za socialno dejavnost – Centro cooperativo di attività sociali (in english translation: Cooperative Center for Social Activities - CCSA) has been active in the field of education since its founding in 1987. The organisation became a social cooperative of educators in 2004. Since 1990, it has provided support to the Municipality of Trieste for social and educational support services for the inclusion of minors with special needs in regular school and extracurricular activities; first, it provided the service autonomously, and in the recent period in a coordinated manner and in connection with some other social cooperatives in Trieste. The specific competence is that its operators are all bilingual (slovene and Italian language) and are therefore qualified for the needs of the Slovenian national community in Friuli-Venezia Giulia region and for the entire regional population, regardless of language, also with immigrant population; the latter is intensified by working closely with the Združenje slovenski dijaški dom Trst (Association of the Slovene Boarding School). There are a total of 30 subsidiaries and paid staff.
Since 2012, the cooperative has a Development Department with a project office, which has initiated a series of new activities and has planned and implemented some international and cross-border projects. The Project Office has highly qualified staff with in-depth comprehension in efficiency and effectiveness of managing EU funded projects. The personnel is qualified with competences in vocational and technical training and in the evaluation of European transnational projects of mobility.
CCSA is active in the field of career counseling through the Erasmus + Strategic Partnership project with the Guidance for Lifelong Learning in Minority Languages Context project, with participation of minority linguistic communities in different EU cross-border areas. The cooperative further cooperates with schools and providers of vocational and technical education services: in the preparation of European Development Plans, which are based on the planning of student or school staff mobility and in the preparation and implementation of mobility projects applying for annual calls for Erasmus + applications.
CCSA has experience in the area of project management and coordination, with an emphasis on practical knowledge and experience in relation to the obligations, responsibilities, technical and financial progress/project reporting, applying performance indicators for project monitoring and evaluation, applying obligations for visibility and communication/dissemination, understanding the importance of internal and external audits, obligations resulting from audits, applying best principles and practices for efficient technical and financial management, project monitoring and evaluation (early stage financial risk evaluation as well as strategy optimization).
