We are Care and working center Tončke Hočevar. We provide help and support for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and co-occurring disorders. We organise day care and institutional care. In day care programmes, adults with disabilities work in different types of occupations. This helps them to stay active, develop new skills and integrate into society. Around 237 adults attend day care programmes in five different units in Ljubljana every day. Each unit has a team of professional mentors (special educator, social worker, occupational therapist) and occupational supervisors. In the internal units, the work is divided into smaller groups of 15-25 adults. Approximately 90 adults live in our residential houses. 

In addition to occupation and living, we organise many other activities for our users: we go on excursions, visit events and various institutions, celebrate birthdays and New Year together. We are also active in the field of sport, taking part in competitions organised by the Special Olympics.
