The Teacher Training Centre of Ilfov is a public institution with the attributions in the continuous training and improvement of the approximately 2,500 teaching staff in the pre-university education at the county level, under the coordination of the Ministry of National Education and which has the main task of applying in the territory the national strategies for the development of education, the methodological support and the increase of the quality of education and training in the county.

Teacher Training Centre of Ilfov functions as a modern resource center for innovation in pre-university education, in adult education - lifelong learning, center of documentation and teacher counseling, professional support in the evolution of teaching career. CCD Ilfov provides education and training support to organizations in the community. Ilfov County has the particularity of being a territorial ring around the capital, with a specific one: multiple challenges and difficulties.

In the over 20 years of experience of the organization, with a constant and active presence by adapting its programs and activities to developments in the educational field and to the development needs of school organizations, CCD Ilfov has developed numerous projects, programs and partnerships. In the center of concern were programs for disadvantaged categories, prevention of school abandonment, interculturality, school and social inclusion, culture and traditions of Roma ethnicity, citizenship, parent counseling, because these issues are prevalent in our county.

 These issues have also been addressed in terms of the predominance of these issues, alongside poverty in disadvantaged rural areas in our county, where communities are deprived of resources, and marginalization is one of the causes of the increased dropout rate. In the field of Sansa second type programs, CCD Ilfov organized each year a curricular training course.

An important part of CCD Ilfov's activity is the cultural, artistic, cultural and artistic activities, preserving the traditions, promoting and preserving local, regional and national specifics and history in European context.

In the CCD headquarters there is a museum exhibition illustrating the history of the Ilfovian education, and we also have a festive hall, 2 modernly equipped courses and a computer room.

The CCD Ilfov team is creative and motivated, has the experience and ability to successfully implement international projects.
