Pucko otvoreno uciliste Varazdin (People's Open University Varazdin)

POU Varazdin is a public institution for education and culture founded by the City of Varaždin. Principally is engaged in the education of adults through training programs for unemployed people or people at risk of unemployment in accordance with the needs of the labour market. POU Varazdin also conducts entrepreneurship education through the program Academy for Entrepreneurship.

POU Varazdin is a publicly-owned education entity of the City of Varazdin. It works with the city, civil society organizations (CSOs) or & other institutions (schools, social services, etc.) to manage programmes that enhance civic participation, local development and democratic processes. POU educates CSO reps, volunteers, students, public servants, etc., so they can organize actions that address specific themes (re: education, social inclusion, civil protection, applying particular EU policies, etc.). POU also organizes actions that inform citizens of the benefits & challenges of EU integration.
