Mine Vaganti NGO is a no-profit organisation born in Sardinia in 2009. MVNGO has 4 offices in Sassari (where MVNGO managed a Youth Center for 2 years), Uri, Olbia and Tempio Pausania covering all the North of Sardinia with other branches in the rest of Italy.

Mission

MVNGO promotes intercultural dialogue, social and green entrepreneurship, social inclusion through Sport, Formal and Non Formal Education including disadvantaged targets as migrants and people with disabilities. MVNGO is part of 3 international networks such as YEE, ISCA and MV International.

Services

MVNGO is an educational training provider at local and european level. MVNGO has a consultant role for public and private bodies in order to promote and develop european and trans-continental projects in Youth/Adults/VET/HEI/Sport Sectors.

MVNGO works on Erasmus+, Horizon 2020, Cosme, Europe for Citizens, Creative Europe, EuropeAid, EaSi, Life+, IEE, the United Nations programmes (UNDEF) and with foundations such as EYF, Fondazione con il Sud, Anna Lindh and Open Society

Mine Vaganti NGO has a long-standing involvement in the field of Adult learning and education, whose origin date back to the Grundtvig programme in 2012. In the recalled frame, MVNGO implemented the Training in Service “Education and Sport for All” (2012) as well as the Grundtvig Workshop “Inclusive Methods on Foreign Language” (2013). As a sending organization, MVNGO staff took part in several Trainings in Service and Study Visits in Slovenia, Greece, Portugal Romania and French Guyenne.

At the level of local activities, MVNGO involved directly a target of Adults by educational means in cooperation with the private foundation “Fondazione Banco di Sardegna”. The aforementioned involvement took place in the context of the 2 local activities “Chance for a Change” and “Chance for a Change 2”, in whose context the topic of environmental sustainability and valorization was declined as a pathway of employability and participation for disadvantaged Adult categories.

MVNGO was the coordinator of the COSME project “Forever Young” (2016-2017) aimed at promoting medium/low season cultural tourism in European peripheral regions as an opportunity for the development of a specific tourism offer targeted at Seniors (Adults aged 55+) valorizing the heritage of cultural, traditional and environmental beauties as well as peculiarities rooted in European peripheries.

Under the present Erasmus Plus programme, MVNGO coordinates a KA1 Adult staff mobility project “Growing Social in Storytelling” in whose context several staff members of MVNGO is currently taking part in a series of 2 Training Courses and 1 Job Shadowing targeted at 5 staff members.

MVNGO, through its leading responsible persons Roberto Solinas (President) and Maria Grazia Pirina (Vice President) is a hosting entity in the programme Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs (EYF). In this capacity, the organization hosts newly established entrepreneurs from across Europe for programmes of entrepreneurial development, exchange and cooperation.

MVNGO is currently involved in 46 KA2 Strategic Partnership projects/Colllaborative Partnership projects (VET, Adults, Youth and Sport) and coordinating a HIGHER EDUCATION MOBILITY CONSORTIUM. MVNGO coordinated a COSME project and is presently partner in a REC/Justice project.
