The organization La Pangée is a citizen, social and cultural initiative. Its aim is to create social ties between citizens, to promote access to culture for all and to unite different audiences around intercultural projects.

The organization is based in Bordeaux, France. It coordinates the festival “La Voie des Peuples” (the Way of People) which promotes cultural diversity by using art as a tool for gathering participants. The idea is to celebrate the culture of one or more different communities each edition and to highlight the precious diversity of the territory's inhabitants. Through artistic, social and culinary encounters, these events come to life in a respectful and caring atmosphere. Like human society who are rarely established in one single place, our events take place in new venues with each edition. The project cannot be reduced to simple days since la Pangée systematically organizes participatory cultural workshops in advance. The Way of People therefore represent the restitution of several months of collaborative work with local stakeholders.

Beyond this festival, la Pangée organizes and participates in numerous other projects: film screenings and discussions, philosophy workshops for children, intercultural fashion show, slam contest... There is no shortage of ideas and the association is as much interested about organizing events as participating in others or connecting people.
