Ksiąznica Płocka a library in Plock (a city with 120 000 citizens) with a main library, 13 subsidiaries and the library for children.

The basic task of the library is providing the acces to different sources of information, collecting books, newspapers, films and other formats and archiving them.

Książnica Płocka also co-creates the cultural life of our city. We organize meeting with authors, exhibitions, lectures, happenings, flash mobs ect.

We work with kids, teenagers and with adults. Main areas of the adult education in our library are: IT courses for senior citizens, events organised specially for adults disabled and 50+, cooperation with the amateur theatre and art section of Senior Citizens University, clubs for seniors in some subsidiaries. We would like to add new ways of adult education to our offer.
