ipcenter is one of the leading private training and education providers in Austria. As part of the eduPRO group (with offices in Austria, Germany and Hungary), the company operates five training centers in Vienna, and has more than 130 employees and an annual turnover of about 13,7 million EUR (FY 2016-2017). ipcenter has over 20 years of experience in the field of vocational and apprenticeship training, management coaching and business trainings. It provides vocational education and professional training for adults and youth (around 300 apprentices), within the scope of public labour market policies as well as for the public sector.
The core competence of the company is analysing the needs of trainings and further education and developing tailor-made trainings. The methods used are adapted to customer requirements and range from on-the-spot trainings to innovative tech-based learning methods (e-learning, gamification, virtual reality). ipcenter has been active in small and large-scale projects, with a diverse range of activities from local surveys on education needs to building training academies. In addition to its core competences on the national level (education services for youth and adults) and the combined expertise of the other group members, ipcenter is also active in the field of international project development and management.
Members and strategic partners of the International Projects Unit cover the regions of Central and South Eastern Europe, further projects are implemented in Africa (Northern, Central, Southern). ipcenter participates in running and successfully finished national and international projects supporting workforce upskilling, further education and entrepreneur training.
Selected examples of recent relevant projects include: Youth Workshops (career orientation and basic information for school-leavers); Career Reorientation (professional guidance and empowerment training); BEDA (international placement of young persons from underprivileged backgrounds, giving them perspectives on alternative professional livelihoods); ALLE (creation of job opportunities for people with disabilities); Job Workshop (guidance and counselling for graduate job-seekers and potential self-employers).
