IES Pérez Galdós High School is a State school located in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, in Canary Islands, Spain. Our high school offers General, Technical and Vocational Secondary Education and also Higher Vocational Education. Our students’ ages are between 12 -adult. We have 1500 students and 100 teachers in three shifts. One of our main characteristics is that we offer Arts, Music and Dance Higher Secondary education, so we get students from all the island and a  very artistic and cultural atmosphere.
The school has a lot of students from other countries, not only European but also from North and Western Africa, Asia and both Center and South America. Four European languages are taught at our school, these being English, French, German and Italian.
Also our school has  been involved  in the Canarian Government CLIL Programme for eight years now, with several subjects being taught partially in English (Maths, History, P.E, Music, and Science).We also offer Bachibac (High Secondary Education bilingually in French) and blended learning for adults in oir night shift.
Regarding ICT for Foreign Language Teaching we have been working on it for several years now. We are also involved in several other projects both European and local.
