Gourmand School of Hospitality, Tourism, Trade, Vocational Training, Technical School and High School
The Gourmand Trade, Hospitality, Tourism Foundation has been the maintainer of the Gourmand Hospitality, Tourism, Trade, Vocational, Technical and Secondary School since 1993. The Foundation aims to provide quality vocational training in the professions of chef, pastry chef, waiter, catering waiter and waitress. It has been doing this for 30 years without interruption. The names of the jobs and the content of the training change, but the main professional field does not. Our Foundation places great emphasis on developing the necessary practical skills in vocational training. In our state-of-the-art workshop, students can learn the latest technologies. The courses are available on a full-time, evening and part-time basis. In addition to vocational training, the school also organises events where students can test their professional skills. Students aged between 14 and 25 are taught full-time in the tourism and catering sector. Education takes place in a vocational school (without a baccalaureate, the aim is to obtain a vocational qualification in 3 years) and in a technical school (students obtain both a baccalaureate and a vocational qualification in 5 years). Adult education is provided on a part-time or evening basis in the professions also taught full-time. Here, there are opportunities for those aged 25 and over to learn a trade, or for young people under 25 who are working.
