Funka Foundation

The Funka Foundation carries out research and training to support inclusion and accessibility for people of all abilities. We are a not-for-profit independent organisation working to empower persons with disabilities through user-centred research and innovation.
As part of our activities, Funka Foundation provides training on accessibility and inclusion to organisations in the public and private sector as well as to Organisations for Persons with Disabilities (OPDs). Our training covers topics such as digital accessibility, universal design, universal design for learning, and inclusion in education and employment.
We also provide training to persons with disabilities with a view to enhancing independence, in cooperation with other adult education providers and OPDs.
The staff at the Funka Foundation has a long experience of designing, developing and delivering curricula and training materials on topics related to accessibility and inclusion, within successful projects in Erasmus Cooperation Partnerships.
We are always looking for new partners for Cooperation Partnerships and Small-scale Partnerships. We are especially interested in getting in touch with organisations that share our interest in promoting the inclusion and independence of persons with disabilities through training and/or research.
