Escuela Oficial de Idiomas de Parla (Public School of Languages in Parla-Madrid)

We are a public school of languages based in Parla, a large town in the south of Madrid well-connected with the big city via train (25 minutes to Atocha Station).
We teach three languages, German, French and English. About 600 students study with us. Roughly 80% of our students learn English, while 12% learn French, and 8% study German. As part of our job, we train students to take the official examinations held every year in the Madrid Region (CEFR levels at "Escuelas Oficiales de Idiomas").
Our students come from diverse cultural backgrounds, with 18 nationalities represented at our school. A large number are adults (85%), with ages between 20 and 45 accounting for most of our learners.
We specialize mainly in general language acquisition from A1 all the way to C2 (in English), although we only offer courses in German and French up to B1 or B2, depending on the year. Our students usually attend classes twice a week. The lessons are 2h15m long, except for the A1 level courses (Beginners), which are shorter (1h30m).
Most of our courses are face-to-face, in groups ranging from 10 to 25 students. We have also taught some English courses in a blended environment (50% of the lessons through a virtual platform), but both our students and staff tend to favour the in-class approach.
Moreover, as part of our English courses, some years we have also opened groups which focus on certain skills, such as speaking at B2 level this year.
Finally, we also offer a distance learning English course, called "That's English!", that includes an in-class tuition on Friday.
