EPALE - Electronic Platform for Adult Learning in Europe

ENJOY ITALY

Italy.

Enjoy Italy – Tools and Services for Destination Management, Education and Local Development is a young company working for the local development of territories and communities of Italy and South Italy. We simply love it!

It has been founded by some dynamic, passionate and diverse young people with few but solid values: ecology, responsibility, culture, inclusion, sharing, lifelong learning, civic awareness. And a vivid passion for our land. Two are the specific areas of its action:

  • Destination Management and Local Development: assistance to public and private entities in developing vision and goals, providing advice and services during the entire life cycle of a project. For sustainable destinations.
  • Education and Training: provision of tools and opportunities for a personal, social, cultural and professional growth. For responsible citizens.

Among its activities for adult education, the company is delivering the following training courses for staff and professionals:

- EU project design and project cycle management: from theory to practice
- Self-entrepreneurship for social economy, tourism and culture: planning your business
- Italian cooking and UNESCO Mediterranean diet: an interactive experience!
- Quality food-industry, sustainable farming and agri-tourism: an amazing study visit!
- Non-formal education at school. Methods and tools to empower students learning
- Management and marketing of environmental, cultural and social heritage for sustainable tourist destinations and companies.

In Italy as well as in Belgium, Germany and Netherlands.

Currently, Enjoy Italy is partner of “Sharing Skills”, a KA2 VET Erasmus+ project aimed to analise features and trends of social economy and to improve the skills of users/providers through a new training course.

Recently, it coordinated “TOUR.I.S.MA. – Quality Innovation and Sustainability in Tourism Management”, a KA1 VET Erasmus+ international mobility project for VET learners on behalf of a national consortium composed by schools, associations and local authorities (2014-1-IT01-KA102-002316). This project is currently in the final list of candidates for  the “best practice” award by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affair of Italy and Istituto Pragma.

While it is also the coordinator of the “Calabrian Tourism Vet Schools Network”, composed by 18 VET schools focussed on tourism (catering, hospitality, travel and destination management).
