La Direction Diocésaine de l’Enseignement Catholique (D.D.E.C.) de Nantes est une association (loi 1901, statuts déposés en préfecture de Loire-Atlantique) au service des établissements scolaires catholiques, qui sont eux-mêmes des associations. Elle est entièrement par des contributions versées les écoles, les collèges et les lycées catholiques de Loire-Atlantique, sous contrat d’association avec l’Etat.

Une des missions prioritaires de la DDEC est le soutien des initiatives favorisant l'ouverture internationale des établissements : dossiers ERASMUS + (KA 101, KA 102, KA20&, KA 229), accueil d'assistants étrangers, eTwinning, Label Etablissement International (délivré par la DDEC 44), actions de solidarité internationale...

The Diocesan Direction of the Catholic Education (D.D.E.C.) of Nantes is an association (law 1901, statutes deposited in the prefecture of Loire-Atlantique) in the service of Catholic schools, which are themselves associations. It is entirely through contributions paid to the schools, colleges and Catholic high schools of Loire-Atlantique, under an association contract with the State.
