CFA GIRONA is a 40-year adult education school set up in Girona city, Catalonia -Spain, not far from Costa Brava beaches or the French border. The school is funded by the Catalan Government and it is currently made up by 18 teachers, 2 caretakers and 1 clerk. It welcomes more that 1,000 students from a wide range of nationalities, more than a half are from different nationalities especially Hondurians and Moroccans, the number of students from Russia, Ukraine, Armenia...is increasing though.

CFA GIRONA features an extensive teaching offer. It offers Catalan and Spanish, the two oficial languages, for migrants as well as French and English elementary courses as foreign languages. Our staff also teaches elementray skills such as reading, writing, ICT, Maths to low literacy students. In addition, students who lack the secondary studies certificate have the oportunity to get it  in our school, as you may know it’s the basic compulsoray certificate to sign any job contract. Last but not least, we prepare over 25-year-old student to pass the exam to access university and to vocational training studies.
