We are CEPA LA BALANGUERA, a School for Adults located in Mallorca (Spain). Our institution provides formal and non-formal education. We issue certificates in Secondary Education and consequently, we offer the subjects which are legally established for such certificate. The subjects we teach are: Spanish, Catalan, English, Science, Mathematics and Social Studies at all four grades – as the Secondary Education is divided in the Spanish School System.

We also offer preparation courses for access exams to Upper Vocational Studies (Formación Profesional Grado Superior) and to University. Our students receive training in the subjects mentioned above for the specific purpose of passing the exams required to access to such levels.

Adult literacy is also an important section in our school.

Our Language Department offers yearly courses in English (currently at five different levels), Catalan (3 levels), Spanish for Foreigners (3 levels) and German (1 level)

Our Computers Department issues certificates at 3 different levels.

The rest of our educational offer includes a Module in Vocational Studies (Hairdressing) and a number of other activities in the field of non-formal education ranging Painting, Dancing, Aerobics or Yoga.

All members of our staff are qualified teachers with a degree in the subject they teach who gained access to a position in our school after having taught for a number of years in High schools or Primary Schools in the Public Sector.

All our students are over 18.
