Ceipiemonte Scpa

Ceipiemonte S.c.p.a. is a body governed by public law created by Piemonte Region together with the local Chambers of Commerce in 2006, gathering the staff and competences of five pre-existing local organizations which had been active since the '70s.
As a non profit-making organization it works to support local development and groups up institutional stakeholders from local government, business, academic and research worlds. Among its members there are the Union of Piemonte Chambers of Commerce (Unioncamere Piemonte), the eight Chambers of Commerce of Piemonte region, the Engineering University of Torino (Politecnico) and the Universities of Torino and of Western Piedmont.
Its main objectives and services aim at:
- enhancing the presence and competitiveness of local companies on international markets, promoting their excellence abroad and their vocation to innovation and research,
- strengthening the competences and skills of institutions, companies, workers and citizens in the field of internationalization by means of training and capacity building programmes.
- Attracting foreign investment to Piemonte and creating new opportunities of qualified labour
Its Training Department is accredited by Piemonte Region as a training and guidance agency and is certified under ISO 9001:2008. It plans, promotes and carries out management and vocational training programmes, as well as integrated projects in the field of labour market, both at a local and international level. Its target groups are: graduated and under/post graduated young and adult people, unemployed, employees, managers, executives and entrepreneurs (both Italian and foreign). It also promotes international co-operation projects to encourage the exchange of knowledge, experiences and good practices on transversal themes, such as support to entrepreneurship, social and gender policies, long-life-learning, active labour policies, CSR and sustainable development, diversity management and migrants. It implemented as a lead partner several of co-operation projects, funded by local/national government, EU and international agencies.
