ABOUT BUSMEK

In 2006, starting out with 5 training centers, BUSMEK (the Art and Vocational Training Courses of the Metropolitan Municipality of Bursa) is carrying out to provide service for Bursians on its 12th year in 30 different centers together with its inner and outsider partners.

BUSMEK, which teaches Bursians our traditional arts by dint of its trainings and provides an opportunity to them through its vocatinal trainings, is carrying out its educational, social and cultural activities in 2017 academic year.

Today, BUSMEK has demonstrated itself by obvious services. It empowers local progress with principles of producing social benefits, being a pacemaker, reachable, sustainable and qualified life-long learning.

BUSMEK, which provides a wide-ranging education opportunity intended for different parts of the society, makes innovations on its trainings. BUSMEK which carries out its works in order to reach more people, has started new trainings on summer term for the first time. Bursians get a chance to take their summer holidays very well thanks to 12-15 age group branches besides branches for adult people.

BUSMEK has become entitled to get “ISO 001:2008 TSE Quality Management System Certificate” after TSE(Turkish Standarts Instution) application and after results of TSE examinations on the date of 24.07.2015 in the framework of arranged activities for the purpose of performing a quality management system which is focused on partner contentment and quality of service upon the all activities of the organization.

BUSMEK which trained 190.000 course attendees since its opening day has been still going on providing services in 250 different branches. Every year approximately 40.000 people can take advantage of many activities like tours, interviews, exhibitions and seminars at the cultural centers besides the trainings on its organization.
