Bridge Language Study House Association was founded in 2002 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania and meanwhile opened two other branches: one in Satu-Mare and the other one in Oradea.

The main scope of Bridge Language Study House is to promote language acquisition, academic achievement and intercultural communication through the provision of quality language instruction, translation services, professional development for language instructors and cultural awareness problems. Our intention is to address a large palette of people with our services, activities and projects, giving the chance of learning to children, youth or adults, workers or unemployed, firms or individuals, citizens of our country or foreigners.

The areas of interest in projects for our organisation are the following:

• Education, especially adult and vocational education:

Creating and developing innovative adult teaching methods, techniques and materials;

Promoting the teaching and learning of less widely used languages;

Blended-learning and technology-based learning;

Studies and research in the field of adult education and vocational education;

Developing educational programs for disadvantaged people (ex. entrepreneurship within local rural communities, employability skills of unemployed, educational programs for minority groups).

• Culture, especially:

Promoting the cultural heritage of the less known countries of Europe;

Multicultural education of children and youth;

Cultural activities offered to minority groups.
