Babel Academy of English, founded in 2017, is an independent language school with two locations in the capital of Ireland - Dublin. We take great pride in the welcoming atmosphere at our school, and the quality of support provided. 

We have a wide range of learning opportunities, including general English programmes and staff training courses - Erasmus+ training opportunities are available to staff working in education, both in teaching and non-teaching capacities. They are eligible to be fully funded by Erasmus+ KA1 Learning Mobility of Individuals. Current courses include Technology in the Classroom, Mindfulness in Education, CLIL, Methodology for Language Teachers, English for International Office & Student Support Staff, Presentations & Academic Writing Skills, as well as language and culture options. 

Course participants benefit from professional development, peer support & networking and improved communication skills. Areas of interest are improving digital skills, classroom management, communication skills, creativity in teaching and learning, and green initiatives. 

We have been running staff training programmes since our establishment. Each year we build on the insights gained from participants to develop and enhance our courses. We have welcomed secondary school teachers from Yakutsk, Russia; education coordinators from Portugal; senior teachers from Martinique; university lecturers from Poland; primary school teachers from France; academic administrators from Hungary; international office staff from Germany; vocational education and training tutors from Austria, to name a few. We welcome participants from diverse backgrounds and encourage them to share their experiences with their new international network.

Our centres are located in the city of Dublin, on Eden Quay and Capel Street. Immersing yourself in all that Dublin has to offer is an important part of studying with us. Course participants enjoy the great location and our lively social and cultural programme.
