With its vision to be a University well known in Turkey and abroad with its educational, research and service activities and which is preferred by students, academic staff and personnel; Adnan Menderes University is a state university located in the city of Aydın – located in the Aegean Region of Turkey.

Adnan Menderes University, Faculty of Education, founded in 1997, started educational activities in 2000-2001 academic year. Within the faculty, there are 11 undergraduate programs including Department of Primary School Teaching, Social Studies Teaching, Elementary Mathematics Teaching, Turkish Language Teaching, Guidance and Psychological Counseling, Science Education, Computer and Instructional Technology Education, Preschool Teacher Education, English Language Teaching, Art Teacher Education and Music Teacher Education; postgraduate programmes in the Departments of Educational Programmes and Instruction, Social Studies, Classroom Teaching, Preschool Teaching and Science Education; and doctorate degrees in the Departments of Educational Administration, Educational Programmes and Instruction and Science Education.
